Please helpme somebody

So my husband received an email from cpc ottawa for change in status from single to married and also received his medical exam letter.

Thank you for informing us of your change in marital status.

Along with a list of forms and details.
Now my question is:

1. Since my husband has got his medical request letter from cic and is about to undergo his medical exam in two days, when we submit my pr details online how long will it take for me to receive my pr??

2. We were thinking about applying for a spousal open work permit aswell but since we have been asked to email all the spousal pr details to an email address of cpc cdc ottawa ,how do we submit our sowp application? Should we send along with the spousal pr file or should we apply separately online?

Many thanks.

If we do not receive the information/documents within 30 days, your application will be assessed based on the information we have on file, meaning your application could be refused as incomplete.

1. once you are added to your husband's PR application as dependent. you both will receive PR at the same time. Meanwhile you have to do your medicals as well and after that wait for PPR.

2. Spousal work permit is a separate application which you need to apply online through mycic account.

I haven't received that "letter" yet, and didn't call. But what you are saying is exactly what I am thinking. My agent sent email on Sep 26 to CIC, received an email back on Oct 3. I received that note on Oct 6, was happy CIC is working on my file. Less than 3 hour later, I say wait a minute, what about that "letter" is say "we replied to your email on Oct 3". I won't be surprised. :P

Exactly same email I have received

Oh I thought you received the email out of the blue but looks like you sent them an email asking for status update and this is what they sent you. Am I correct in saying that?
Because when you call the helpline this is exactly what they say.

At least they told you what stage you are. When I asked them for my status update, they just told me my application is in process. If my application is finalized, why should I send them the email?! :(

Today received GCMS notes, it seems everything passed, and due date is Nov 30,2016 and location is PACE, CPC - Ottawa. Can anyone tell what mean by due date and PACE meaning? Is it visa issue date?

I have already replied under the October 2014 thread.

I made an inquiry to CSIS on Sep 26 and received a letter in mail today. They confirmed my security checks were completed on May 24 and it was already sent to CIC. Now WTF CIC is waiting for? I'm so pissed off with these delays. Its been 10 months since I added my spouse. I made a CSE inquiry today and attached letter from CSIS. I also gave a detailed explanation and requested CIC to take some action. Lets see what happens. I just don't want to see another generic reply.
