Hi just want to ask, is it true that the processing time of student direct stream and regular stream are the same now? I want to lodge my visa through direct stream but my agent told me that the processing time are the same now, thanks..

Even if they are same, if you fulfill all requirements of SDS then it is still far more better than regular stream as the basic requirements gets fulfil

Hmm...I thought all SDS are processed in Ottawa, CN. That is what I read. Someone else please confirm.

Not really. Like I know for Pakistan it goes to UAE. Philippines are processed within the country. Besides based on what I saw in GCMS notes our file internally moves across different visa office which is known as secondary office where they share some work load. Final decisions comes from the primary office.

Yes, Sept intake. Banks fucked up my time with their processing timelines.
it is a 1.5-hour flight from Hyd to Kol, not so bad!

Yeah flight is not that long. Same for me, banks screwed up the timeline but I guess I am still okish on the timelines. Bank could have expedited it little faster, this is with me following up with them regularly! Hope it works out well for us in the end. Good luck!

I applied on 21st Aug. Complete file. Had BIO & medical from previous application.

I Know Just trying to check the trend for August. When I applied in June, I got a BVL in 4 days so every month has something new so trying to gauge what I should expect.

Yes, elections could be a trigger but I read that it will not change the immigration program. Canada needs lot of immigrants to keep it running. Who knows, its crazy time, so always expect the worst.

I applied on 3rd August medical and biometrics updated on 6th. Eligibility review started on 6th too but now it says we will inform you when eligibility review starts is that normal?

I am not sure, but at least file is making progress! I am also curios what does this mean.
