All seniors,
I AM GOING TO SEND MY 120 DAYS DOCUMENTS NEXT WEEK.
I am principal applicant. my wife has real uncle ( brother of mom) in canada. I have all documents of uncle But
1- There is some mistake in father's name ( spelling mistake of my wife's mother on his educational).
2- There is also spelling mistake in few documents of my wife's mothre name eg khanam, and in some documents its KHANUM

1- Is it OK or I might have any problem regarding these mistakes.?
2- Should I write an explanation about all the matter?
3- SHOULD I WRITE VISA OFFICER FOR DNA TEST FOR ANY KIND OF DOUBT?

PLEASE HELP , I HAVE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS MY DOCUMENTS NEXT WEEK.

I have a similar situation .. Just that my relative is my aunt ( fathers sister ) and I am the principal applicant.
There is a spelling mistake in my gradfathers name spelling on all 3 passports

as per My Passport my fathers full name is SRINIVASAVARADAN .... ( Srinivasavaradan being my gradfathers name and hence is part of my fathers name in my Passport)
As per my aunts passport , her fathers name is SRINIVASAVARADHAN
As per fathers passport his fathers name is SRINIVASAVARATHAN

Is there going to be an issue ?
I would appreciate any assistance

No problems buddies. I had this similar problem. i have my AUNT in canada who is my fathers eldest sister. Her records of father name and my fathers record of his fathers name was mismatched. i consulted my consultant in canada who adviced me to convey to my aunt in canada to make an affidavit showing the misspelt name and it worked out fine. Do the same and 5 points are all yours.

Firstly, you can claim 5 points for your wifes uncle. The points count for Principal applicant or their Spouse.as per C.I.C instructions below.

. Relatives in Canada:

You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner has a relative (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, sibling, child of a grandparent, aunt/uncle, or grandchild of a parent, niece or nephew) who lives in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

You may encounter a problem with the spelling mistakes etc. All you can do is write a supporting letter explaining this.

An affidavit from Canada or India with your relatives signatures attested and a letter explaining the mistakes will make you eligible for 5 points.

Best of luck

But it is not a spelling mistake so to say .. Its a Tamil word and when converted to english was pronounced in diff ways ..
Do we need to justify it .. I was of the opinion that we cud just ignore it ..

Then just provide and explanatory letter along with it. Better to be safe.

I understand. For the affidavit , can I just get one made for my Dad stating that his father name and get his sisters name in the same affidavit .. My aunt is in Canada and I dont want to bother them ...

If its just a translation issue then affidavit is not important. Letter would suffice.
