Attn Experts need help terrible situation with status

Hi guys,
I need an expert advice if any of you aware with this kind of situation.
I got Open work permit in 2013 for one year, I worked for an employer for one year and when I was about to finish my total one year work experience, CEC rules was changed that I can't able to apply under CEC with same NOC occupation, and my employer also can't able to get me the LMIA, as my work permit got expired in 2014, in order to get the extension, somehow I arranged the other LMIA supported job but it was lower skilled, (NOC C) but I got an extension for another two years, I only worked there for 5 months and I quited because it was not taking me anywhere and I thought I will get another skilled LMIA, but in the search for skilled LMIA I wasted 1 year, now i almost waste 1 year without working and few months left for my status to expire. As I got issued 2 year of closed work permit but I only worked 5 months on it, now I am confused how can I able to apply for my PR and is there any way I can get extension again or workpermit again. I don't know what I suppose to do, what is the right step I should take
I am facing a really hard time at the moment. Please give me some genuine advice guys.

If you want a work permit extension or to work again - you would need to find an employer who is willing to offer you a full time job and can also get an approved LMIA. You would then have to apply for a new closed work permit based on the job offer and approved LMIA. I would recommend you try to find a job offer for a NOC A, B or 0 job.

Have you investigated if you qualify to apply for PR under the new FSW or CEC rules under Express Entry? You should look into this if you haven't already to see how many points you have.

Can you explain this? Not sure what you mean. What NOC? There was a brief time where some occupations were excluded, but that was a long time ago. There are currently no excluded occupations for CEC, only that it has to be NOC O, A, or B...

If you have already applied for your PR under CEC, you can go ahead and apply for a BOWP.
I did the same thing. I had a closed work permit but my job sucked big time so I left and I had already applied for PR ..
So i applied for a BOWP and put in a letter of explanantion to the officer telling them that I was sitting wasted at home with nothing to do
I got it approved
