Attestation of Driving exp Certificate (Toronto)

Can you please highlight that when this rule has come out as I had been to Victoria Park / Lawrence Drive test last Aug and they did not ask any attested copy.
Is this rule something new in place?

RTA Dubai is issuing a computer-generated paper stating your driving experience. If it is not stamped/signed then what I noticed here that it is not accepted & sent to UAE Embassy Ottawa for attestation..

Hi guys,

I have pass G1 test today. While submitting RTA letter (was attested), I ask whether this letter needs to attested compulsory and answer was YES.
Two staff on counter confirmed and clear the doubt.

I have appeared for test @ brampton. Other place, I am not aware

I recently came Toronto from Dubai. When i went today to apply for ON driving license, they asked me to provide them with experience letter from Dubai else they will only consider my 15 years experience as 12 months and i will need to stick with this G1 for an year.

I never knew this before coming to Canada, and now i can not go back to get this letter. Is there any ways to get this letter from UAE , some website, or through UAE embassy here ?

You can apply here : https://www.rta.ae/wps/portal/rta/ae/home/rta-services/service-details?serviceId=3704313&lang=en

You will get it as electronic certificate which you can then print and attest at the embassy in Ottawa or consulate general closest to you. Google will get you the address.

Others came directly to Drivetest location and had no issues presenting this letter without attestion. So give it a shot first before wasting money on attestion
