Attestation Letter Information Requirement

Hi, I am a homeowner and I have a family friend that will be living with me. She needs a letter from the homeowner attesting her residence in Canada when applying for her PR. What do I have to include in that letter since I am not her landlord and I am not charging her anything. Does it also need to be notarized?

Don't have this experience. But you could write that you are hosting your friend as guest for free. And the period of time she is staying with you.
I don't think it needs to be notarized because this is not a very strong document nor an official document to proof her stay.

Yes, better to write that your friend will stay with you as a guest and how long she will be staying.
