Dear PM

I am pakistani citizen age 28 and currently working for a local ISP and completed my MCS from Punjab university.I have no family ties there in Pakistan because all my family including my brother/mother/father are living in canada.
I have applied for canadian PR under simplified application procedure in Federal skilled worker class from Islamabad in July 2007 and recieved its acceptance from CHC by 17th July 2007.later in year 2007 i have got admission in concordia university (Montreal Quebec) Canada and In May 2008 i applied for Study permit application to CHC Islamabad,CHC recieved all my documents required for study permit by 26th May 2008 including my medical etc but i wonder i did not get any response from their side.
Can you please tell how much time they will require in this case / and why are they delaying it / should i being straight forward denied/accepted in this case or they will interview me.
Please suggest something useful to me as if they will call me for interview then what should CHC suppose to ask from me in order to give me study permit visa and what should be satisfactory answers to their question keeping in mind my case history.

According to the Islamabad site, processing for study permits is 4 weeks. http://www.international.gc.ca/missions/pakistan/visas/processing-traitement-eng.asp
so you have a couple of weeks to wait yet.

1. If they decide that it is unlikely that you will return after the study permit, lack of ties/family in Pakistan, they may just approve/refuse without an interview. Most study permit applications are not interviewed.
2. If you are interview, with all your family in Canada, in your going to have difficulty convincing CHC that you will return.

What more is there to say. You are going to have prove that you have an "anchor" in your home country so that you will return. If you don't have relatives, property, an ongoing job, it is going to be very difficult to prove.

Dear PMM / All
i m being refused today on having 2 grounds stated by visa officer;

1.Not sufficient ties with home country.
2.Not convinced that same courses are not available in pakistan and job is not of such calibre that you will return.

what course of action should i take now any suggestions are positivly welcomed.

kind & best regards

dear bro u have already applied for immigration u should better not apply for another application they will keep rejecting u because ur immigration application is in process...and u have shown them that ur intention thr is to stay and u have no family ties... my advice is wait for ur immigration keep every thing clear and straight....

And do they ask u to do the medical or u just did it privately... cuz u have to get the medical by canadian designated phycian ?
