Hi Friends,

A quick question.

On details of submitted application, it was showing "Your Action is Required" when I linked my paper based inland application for P.R. on September and it is still showing the same. However, the message column shows "None" and I haven't got any email notification requesting any information either. Is it Normal ?

Thanks.

While back, CIC had the technical glitch on their system, from the result of the glitch you see that message.
So, you can ignore that message, as long as you don't have any message on the message column and no email from them.

Ya it's normal as long as there is no actual message / update in the inbox

Hi All,
On November 25th I got email from CIC regarding 'Invitation to pre-arrival services'. My background check changed to 'No-applicable'. Waiting for the medical now.

Did you get request for PCC because you lived in countries other than your home country and Canada ? Thanks.

yes, I have lived in Singapore for 5 years. the PCC was not provided with original paperbased application.
singapore requires letter from IRCC to provide PCC to individuals.

Thanks. A couple of more questions if you don't mind. 1. How did you transfer your fees to get PCC to Singapore ? 2. Did you get request letter from IRCC on your mail or you got message on your CIC account. ?
I was thinking of transferring fee through inter bank transfer but I noticed that I have to pay about $15 to bank in Canada and I have no idea how much will be deducted from the receiving bank in the Netherlands. I am thinking of transferring money thru xend money transfer. Have you heard about it ?
Thanks again and good luck with your process.

1. Paid online with credit card.
If you don't have credit card, maybe just pay someone and he/she pays by credit card. As you said bank transfer is costly for small amount.

2. First you have to apply for appeal, after approval of your appeal you should send hard copy of finger print and any other document needed and then COC will post you your pcc.
I applied for appeal several month ago, and then I got pcc in mail.
Cic request for pcc was just last week, and yes they issue you specific letter for obtaining pcc from Singapore. However, I did not use this letter as my pcc was ready already. But again at this stage I was able to upload my pcc to cic website.

Hey all :)
My friend’s online status shows that Medical has been recieved. Does that mean she passed the medical and on her way for PPR?

When did she get her MR? It appears she did hers upfront, correct?

Thanks again for your message. I have to get PCC from the Netherlands. I wish they would accept credit card but strangely enough they want inter bank transfer. I appreciate you sharing your details, it might be useful for somebody else too. Good luck with your application.
