ATTENSION PLEASE!!!quebec immigration

ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!
Can anybody have right information about this issue I want Quebec skill worker immigration and I have done BS-CS honor computer science so I heard that Quebec immigration is closed right now because of excess of application submitted and cap is full now and it will be closed for 2015 & 2016 …please can any body tell me it is right??

If you look at the website of Quebec immigration here: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/rules-procedures.html they say that there are some new rules and caps but they also say that the cap for skilled workers is 20,000 applications from August 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 and that as of December 31st, they were standing at 6245 so it is unlikely that they would be full 6 weeks later.

I assume they will post a new cap / rules around March 31st so if you haven't applied by then, you will have to see what they are and if you still qualify.

I want just ask you one more question from you that For province nominate program it is must necessary that somebody residing in already that province in which i apply nominate me ?? otherwise i can apply myself especially for Quebec

secondly do u know about Quebec skill worker program after 31 march 2014 it will be open for skilled worker...now i am preparing my documents and in June-july it will submit....please guide me or give me your suggestion...great thanks

You don't have to already live in Quebec to apply under Quebec skilled worker. You can apply from outside Canada.

There is a points system. You enter your education, work experience, level of French etc. and they will decide if you qualify.

You can do an assessment here: http://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/epi/index.jsp?languageCode=en
You just click on the button to the left where it says "Begin the evaluation".

I have no idea if they will change or close the program on March 31st. You will have to wait and see. However, I don't think they will close it as they have been open for many years and the cap of 20,000 is very roomy considering that from August 1st until the end of the year which is 5 months, only 6,245 people applied.
