If the conference has already finished what is your purpose of visit? What country are you applying from? Do you have international travel experience to countries like US, Australia or European countries? What about a longterm permanent job with good pay? Savings amount? Other ties to your home country?

Do you have blood relative in Canada that are either citizen, permanent resident,..? Visiting Canada as a tourist from third world countries without previous international travel experience raise serious doubt. Visa Officer is likely going to doubt the possibility of your return.

You may try to answer as many of these questions as possible. These are mostly questions Visa officer consider in determining if TRV applicants are eligible and admissible:

a) What will the person be doing in Canada?
b) What are the applicant's plans for visiting Canada? Are the plans well thought out or are they frivolous?

c) the ties to their home country are sufficiently strong to ensure that they are motivated to return home after the visit to Canada

d) Who invited the person to Canada? Is there proof of an invitation?
e) Does the person have family in Canada? If so, what is their immigration status in Canada?

f) Is the person employed? If yes, at what salary? In what position? Has the applicant's employer approved a request for leave?
g) What family does the person have in the country of residence? Where were they at the time of the application?
h) Does the person have property? What is the value of the property?
i) What financial obligations is the person leaving behind? What is the nature and value of these obligations?
j) What other responsibilities and obligations is the person leaving behind? How will they be discharged?
k) Is travel consistent with local customs or practices? Has the person travelled before?
l) What is the source of funds: traveller's cheques or credit cards?
m)Does the person have the financial ability to return, such as an airplane ticket, money or a statement of bank assets?

Given that you previously asked to attend a conference that has already finished it looks very suspicious that you are asking to visiit to come see an uncle. Given that this is your first international travel it will likely raise concerns. The Canadian visa is very hard to get. You should certainly try but don’t book anything like flight tickets.
