Attach Photos or Afix Photos?

I received letter from Nova Scotia to send my all documents to Bufallo, NY...but One thing I am not able to understand is
-that Do I need to provide 4 PHOTOS in addition to afixing photos on the application forms OR just attach 4 photos in an envelope OR just afix photos and dont supply additional photos...

Please answer.

I sent my application to delhi and I attached 6 photos of for each of my family members as per requirement

I put the photos in separate envelop and wrote name, height, DOB on back of one photo for each person , so that they can identify photos
 
Please answer - Its still not clear that I have to AFIX photos in addition to putting 4 photos in envelope?

You can affix 1 photograph (each of your family member) on the form and additonally send 6 photographs (each of your family member) in separte evelope with specifications suggested by Hardikshah
 
why are people sending 6 photos. just 4 are enough. 6 photos dont increase chances of visa :-)
 
Yes it doesnt. But when I applied they have requested 6 photographs and I dont know whether it has been changed to 4.

While filling the Applications we have to paste one photo on Applicant Form. And in Checklist its not listed that we have to send photographs of our Family in different envelopes.

Please guide how and when these photographs needs to be send.

you dont need to send photographs for stage 1 (i.e when you are applying to Sydney CIC). During stage 2 i.e when you send supporting docs to NewDelhi cic then you will send photographs(6 or 4). As of now, you can just fix photographs on form and send.

Well it depends on the your local visa office, you need to read its requirement but in general you don't need to fix the photos just put 4 or 6 (depends on the office) in an envelope and write as meena said some details on the back of one photo of each person.

Placeholder for photographs in forms does mean something. Isnt it?

Can you tell me what is the proceidure for showing funds?
What all re the acceptable form of funds?
