No post processing, yeah.rj1jr said:Hi all,
Can someone please tell me what CIC means by "Photographs must be original and not altered in any way". Is it like, for example if any scars/pimples should not be photoshopped?
Thanks in advance,
RJ
Thanks for the heads up. +1Andre_Smol said:My PPR included a link to the following specifications:

these instructions mention that the photo studio has to write the name, date on the back of the photo. so we are supposed to scan and upload the back of the photos? Do we ever need to mail the original photos as part of the application?Andre_Smol said:My PPR included a link to the following specifications:

Well, this is for after PPR, not for the online application. I assume you have to mail them along with your passport.damien86 said:these instructions mention that the photo studio has to write the name, date on the back of the photo. so we are supposed to scan and upload the back of the photos? Why don't you check out the link posted by @Andre_Smol aboverj1jr said:Hi all,
I think I am in trouble.... I went to photo studio with the new specs(after PPR) and the photographer finally gave me the photos with 50mm*70mm. But it looks very big with head, shoulders and most part of the chest. If anyone knows the correct spec of the background area i.e, from top till tip of the head and from chin to the bottom. We already know that from chin to crown of head it should be between 31mm and 36mm.
Please help me...
Thanks in advance,
RJ
The same spec we got with our PPR and I took it to my photographer. He developed the photo using the new spec. But the thing is he is not able to identify the actual size from the top of the photograph to the tip of the head i.e, how much white area should be there above the head and how much of the portion below the chin should be shown?CanadaWeCome said:Why don't you check out the link posted by @Andre_Smol above
You must have gone to pythagorus for your photograph. ;Drj1jr said:The same spec we got with our PPR and I took it to my photographer. He developed the photo using the new spec. That space above the head is irrelevant as long as the tip of the head is not chamfered.
That looks fine to me.rj1jr said:Ha Ha...
Please check this http://www.passportphotosperth.com.au/canadian-passport-visa-photos.php. Is this correct?
However my photo though it comes within 50mm*70mm, there is more white portion above the head and more of the body below the chin i.e, upto chest is shown and yet it fits within 50mm*70mm :'(
