I have again through the AIP program eligibility for both streams (International student and skilled worker). I graduated from a designated learning institute from one of the Atlantic Province (1-year Masters program).

Correct if I am wrong,
Eligibility under international student stream is applicants should have completed 2-years program in any of the Atlantic Province and residing in Atlantic province.
On the other hand, for a skilled worker stream, applicants need to show accumulated 1560 hrs in the NOC code applying (in the last 5 years). In my case, the NOC code is C. In Canada, under this NOC code I have not completed full 1560 hrs. Although I have experience in the NOC B from my home country. So, is it I am not eligible to apply under the skilled worker stream until I have 1560 hrs? Or if I show NOC B (experience from home country) and NOC C (from Canada), whether am I eligible to apply under AIP skilled worker stream? Appreciate if one of you clarify

Hi there,

-Skilled Worker
The total amount of hours needed to be eligible in the program cannot be combined with different NOCs.
If you have the total amount of hours needed on NOC B in your home country it should be enough, but you cannot combine NOCs B and C to accrue the total hours needed.

-International Student
Not sure what you meant there but you need to have studied for 2 years long program to be eligible, if it was a Master Program of one year long it doesn't make you eligible.

Correct me if I am wrong about your question in case I didn't get it right.

Thanks for your reply.
The current employer who is willing to support offered NOC C job but not NOC B. Which means, I need to have 1560 hrs in NOC C itself to be eligible.

Second step: ?
Third step: ?

Applied for PR through AIP on July 7. (Inland)
Returned on AUG 22 due to document missing(Proof of previous relevant work experience ).

My Proof of Language Proficiency is valid until the 14th of August.
I am wondering if it is still valid even with the re-submission of new documents. Does anyone have the same situation?

It's hard to tell. You can't upload expired documents, although they will only ask you to upload the missing document by highlighting its placeholder, at least that's what happened to me. I also tried to replace another document other than the one they asked, even though I was able to replace it, after submitting the application and getting the AOR I checked the documents that I uploaded and only the missing document was replaced. Sorry, I wish I could help you more.

Hi,
I believe, you need to give your proof of language proficiency again and submit.
I am Inland and planning for AIP. Could you summarize step-by-step for AIP application?
