I’m wandering when or at what point a person admitted into Canada under the “start up business visa” program currently awaiting for permanent residency status would be able to buy a home in Canada?

Can someone knowledgeable on this subject provide some information please!

I have checked the immigration website but couldn’t find any specific information on this subject.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks so much for posting the link.

To get a straightforward answer of my original question, which professional should be consulted to , real estate lawyer, immigration consultant, accountant or government department who issued these legislations?

When people reach out to know whether they are
eligible to buy a home in Canada without having citizenship or PR status, who are to consult for clarifications “given the current legislation in force” remains a question for many people.

A comprehensive discussion on this topic may help to get some helpful insights. People should not guess owing to not understanding the underlying meanings of the legislation. Government should explain more in details on the grey areas of the legislation in my opinion.

Real estate lawyer should be able to help you. You need them to complete the transaction (although some people use notary public). Consult them before you pay your deposit.
