assistance/advise needed

hi all,
i need your expert advise on a few things, i have been accepted into a college for a post grad course ( 1yr) and would like to bring my spouse and son with me. so here goes.
1. does my spouse need to fill a separate Temp Res visa and Open work permit form ?
2. apart from showing proof of financial support, it is the intention of ours to stay with family while in canada, how do i indicate this when applying for the visa?

any assistance i can get would be appreciated.

1. If your wife wants to accompany you & return home, fill TRV form only, if she wants to accompany you & work until you finish studies, she needs to fill both Open Work Permit & TRV.
2. There will be an area where you will indicated Tuition, Room & Board then Other, indicate amounts in Tuition & Other.
