Ask for Help: No Canada or U.S. address

Can I please ask for help regarding my situation?

So, when I was during IP2, I relocated from the U.S. to China. I did submit web form to update my address to the current China location.

Several days later, Ottawa office sent me an email for PPR request but they would not mail anything to an address outside North America. The problem is I have no idea how soon Ottawa office will reply to help me via email? Some people say it takes 20 days for Ottawa office to get to our request. Could you guys please help?

"If you do not have a mailing address in Canada or the U.S.A, or if you are unable to submit the required documentation for you or your accompanying family members to the addresses below, please send an email to us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can send you instructions for submitting your documents to a visa office which is the most convenient for you. Please note that our office will not return passports to an address outside North America. "

There is really nothing to do except waiting after replying to the PPR email to update the new address and get a new PPR. Just be patient. Good luck!

Thanks so much! I have a friend in Canada, so I plan to mail my passport to him and let him help me to fulfill my PPR request, and then mail my passport back to China. In this case, everything should be able to be done within a month.

Would that work?

Or do I absolutely have to switch to a visa office within China and wait for new PPR?
