This is my situation:

In work experience section of Express entry i have put the following:
Company 1: 12th Jan 2015 to 23rd Feb 2015, Total 6 weeks (While on study permit, but got Graduation letter on 30th Jan 2015, so only 3 weeks usable towards CEC)
Company 2: 11th May 2015 to 31st July 2015, Total 12 weeks (While on Work Permit)
Company 3: 10th August to Working Currently, Approx 25 Weeks (While on Work Permit)

Now the thing is i had created my EE profile a while ago and was sitting at 440 points but i just opened my profile and now the systems has awarded me points for CEC and my total has gone up to 493

What should i do, the system does not recognise date but only month for work expereince ? I don't complete 52 weeks for another 3 months (12 weeks)
Should i delete my 1st Company experience for now and add it to my EE profile when i actually complete 1 yr CEC ?

Re: Experts please help me

Don't delete your EE profile. You should do a calculation of the days worked after graduation till now. If you get an ITA, only accept after you have accumulated 365 days or more.

Hello Joacry,

I'm not deleting my EE profile, i was saying should i delete my 1st company exp till i reach say 50 weeks of work exp. ? I'm still 12 weeks (3 months) short of 52 weeks
OR
Without changing anything in my profile, can i keep denying ITA's till end of April when i actually complete 1 yr Canadian Work Exp. ?

Yes. Preferably wait 3 weeks more so that you have 52 weeks on WP.

Please withdraw your profile and re-enter when you have 52 weeks of work experience.

People on this forum are waiting for ITAs since months. If you get an ITA and reject it, you are wasting that ITA - an opportunity which could have otherwise brought smile to somebody else.

493 is pretty high score and you will get ITA in every draw. Please be considerate for others also, I hope you will understand.

Wish you all the Best.

Yes, I agree. Don't waste. Delete 1st company experience for 3-4 weeks. After that, process of getting name in draw & your actual submission of application will take approx 8-9 weeks.

You applied for OINP also ?. First of all, were you eligible ?. "For CEC Criteria, OINP requires that you have a minimum of one year of cumulative and full-time employment (1,560 hours or more)". Secondly, with 493 points you will anyhow receive the ITA at least 3 months before OINP nominates you.

Anyways, don't delete your EE profile if OINP is in progress.

Since anyway you don't meet CEC criterion now, whats the logic in keeping the EE profile and/or Nomination?

Also since your score is quite high you don't need additional nomination points to be eligible for an ITA, and whenever you either complete 1 yr. of work experience or create your EE profile (whichever is later) you'll get the ITA on the next draw after you confirm your Job Bank registration.

I had entered the pool because i was qualifying for FSW and was sitting peacefully at 440 until this system granted me 50 points for Canadian exp. :( (Why can't they provide a date field)

Also the reason why i had applied for OINP is because:
1. I'm on 1 yr. PGWP here which ends on 29th April 2016
2. My 1st company exp was while i was on a Student Permit, total 6 weeks but out of that 3 weeks should be fine as i got my graduation certificate midway
3. I'm working on a renewable contract currently, it has been renewed 2 times till now, but i don't know if it will be renewed a 3rd time, if it doesn't then my CEC dream goes out of the window and i have to rely on OINP

Anyways what i'm thinking is i will delete my 1st Company Exp for now and add it to my profile in the month of April, that should keep me at 440.

Changed the Work Exp of my 1st Company to acquired during Student Permit so the total has now come down to 440.

One last question, can i accept an ITA when i'm falling 1-2 weeks short for CEC and fulfil those weeks of work exp, while collecting documents during the 2 months post ITA ?

Yes. But remember that you're responsible for any unfortunate errors in your calculations - CIC will show no mercy.
