I had 2 attempts of CELPIP test. Provided that i am married my scores are as below.

1st attempt L-12 R-7 W-8 S-8 gave me CRS score of 92 valid till 1st July 2016
2nd attempt L-12 R-8 W-7 S-7 gave me CRS score of 86 Valid till 10th April 2017

I received ITA in the last draw in PNP category using my 1st attempt score. I used 1st attempt because both my results are valid, I confirmed that from CELPIP test authority. But in the ITA instructions are as below

""If your new score is lower than the minimum points score in the round of invitation from which you were invited to
apply, you should consider declining this invitation to apply. You should also consider declining this invitation
to apply if you no longer meet the minimum criteria for Express Entry.
WARNING: If you decide to apply in the above cases, your application may be refused and your application fee
will not be returned.
Some examples of changes which could result in a lower points score include:

Your language test scores have expired or upon re-taking them, the scores are lower. ""

My score does not fall below the minimum cut off even if 2nd attempt is considered. But there is a drop of 6 CRS score in total.

Experts please advise what should I do?

1. Should I go and apply as is
2. Decline ITA and update profile with 2nd attempt and wait for another ITA
3. Any other suggestions

You can go ahead if your recalculated score does not fall below the cutoff for your ITA, in my ITA there was a link to recalculate my score to find out if I still qualify for the ITA I received, use that

thanks for the prompt reply. I recalculated and found my CSR score does not fall below cutoff. Are you suggesting me to use the 2nd attempt score?

I just called the CIC call center. They suggest me to go with the 1st attempt as that would give me more CRS score.

Hi
raihan101eee

I am in the same situation as you stated above. I have received an ITA based on my first language score results. My second attempt score was lower than the first.

The first test date was May 20th 2016 and second test date was June 2016, so both of them are valid. Just wanted to confirm with you if I can still use my first test score since you were in the same situation.

Please let me know and thanks a lot for taking the time to read this.

You can go ahead with the better scores and in your case it would be the first one.

You do not need to use the 2nd score.
You can still use the 1st score. Only time you use the next score is when 1st one expires.

I have seen many people giving 3-4 IELTS exams and using the best score.
