Hi All,
I've a doubt in the expiry date of IELTS. I wrote the exam on 30-May-2015 and date of test result was 12-Jun-2015. I would like to know till which date
(i.e., 20-May-2015 or 12-Jun-2015) will be considered for expiry for my IELTS ?

Hi All,
We had applied Canada visa and my wife is primary application.

She did M.Sc (Biotechnology) and ECA is (Two or more certificates, degrees or diploma, one must be the program of three or more years).
Her IELTS exam date was 30-May-2015 and test result date was 12-Jun-2015 which is about to expire in another one month.

Coming to the point that, she will score 402 if we are going to apply visa without Spouse. The score goes down to 391 if we are going to apply with spouse.

I believe it is a right time to ask the below questions at this point of time (because the current call for CRS score is 415).

1. We had already submitted Express Entry profile with spouse and score is 391. Can we modify Express entry profile without spouse to increase my wife score to 402 ( as her IELTS score will be expired in another one month and have a hope that there is a chance for getting ITA for 402 in another one month if we have luck).
Does it have any impact ?

2. Latter, Can we apply dependent for spouse/kid once she get PR VISA ?. Will that be good ?

please advice

Many Thanks,

Firstly, if you take this route, you will have to explain why the spouse and child are not accompanying the principal applicant.

Secondly, after PR visa, if your spouse plan on bringing you to Canada with Spousal sponsorship, it will be a time consuming process (close to 1 year processing time) and the spouse has to be in Canada for the whole time. Also, they will be required to prove that their job alone will be able to support you and the kid(s).

So you have to decide whether you can stay away from your spouse for this long and if your spouse can stay away from you and kid for this long.

Well Said Maverick28!! :). I've noted the point now! We don't want to separate till she gets spousal sponsorship dependent visa for me and my kid.
Instead, We will increase my IELTS score .
