Hi dan_and.. Yes i think this might be the reason. The EE profile first asks whether X has taken IELTS test and we obviously enter yes. The next logical question should be IELTS score whereas the system ask has X taken a French Test. If we enter No, then system completes the form and we move to next section. But I read the post which you copied and saw people having a similar issue where they have chosen yes for french and entered their IELTS score and then their profile was eligible.

Now, shall I also follow the same thing. But when system is asking for French can we chose yes and enter our IELTS scores. I mean wont CIC take this as misrepresentation of the fact. And secondly, if I go ahead by chosing yes then do I need to create a new GCkey and then create a profile? What should I input when system asks have you applied to CIC before? Should I choose No here? And lastly, is there a way we can inform CIC about this system glitch.

You can try that to see if it works. It won't be misrepresentation because you are responding to a technical glitch and not deliberately manipulating or defrauding the system.

Creating an online profile is not the same as applying to CIC so you can safely answer No. Answer Yes if you have a UCI though because that implies that you've applied to CIC earlier. You don't need to create a new GCKey.

You can inform CIC about this technical glitch by sending the technical team a mail about this - others have done this already though.

Sure Asivad, I will try to create EE profile again using the option "Yes" in the field "Has X Taken a French Language Test" and will input my IELTS score there.

Just a quick one. In my last attempt to create EE profile, I can see an application number in MyCIC account. Please let me know if this is same as UCI number. Also using same credentials, shall I create an EE profile again. In that case, I will have 2 application number in MyCIC account. Wouldn't that make some confusion. Is it OK to create a new GCkey and then create EE profile bearing in mind that I have created 2 GCkeys already.

That's not the UCI.

Even if you have multiple EE application numbers, you are safe as long as only 1 of them is active in the EE pool. As the other profile was ineligible, you can safely ignore that and use the same GCKey to create a fresh application.

All the best!

Thanks Asivad..

My profile is created now. Application/Profile Status is "Pending Additional Criteria". Job Bank Registration status is "Pending" and Review of Minimum Entry Criteria status is "Met".

1. Is my profile now created?
2. Should I start with Job bank registration now or do I need to wait for instructions from CIC.
3. I am not able to understand what does "Pending Additional Criteria" means.
4. In my application, my primary NOC is 1313. Does this mean that I can only work in NOC 1313 while I am in Canada. I am asking this because my current profile with my recent organizations in India is very different from NOC 1313.

Kindly advise.

Your profile is ready now. Create the job bank profile and link it with your EE profile. Within 24 hours, that 'Pending additional criteria' will change to 'Met' and you're done.

Your PR is like an open permit which allows you the freedom to work in almost any occupation you want (barring a few sensitive roles that require citizenship as a prerequisite) across Canada without discrimination.
