Hi guys I have received ITA on Jan 4th and decided to get the help of a lawyer here in Toronto.
I worked as a teller from jan 2014 to Feb 2015. Then in Feb 2015 i got hired as a advisor and work there till date. All at the same company. I am claiming points for the advisor job. As per the lawyers request I got an employment letter made from my work. It stated that i was with the company since Jan 2014 as a part time teller and then from Feb 2015 till date I am with them full time 37.5 hours a week and I listed my main duties as a advisor.
Now the lawyer is saying I should get a separate letter made for teller job with main duties and hours worked and everything. I dont see the need for that as it will be so hard to calculate hours worked because they use to assign hours based on demand.
Another thing I did list the teller job on the work history section of my ee profile but we could simply remove that from there and put it in the personal history with LOE. And for the job letter we could either remove the teller role completely (which i think sounds more suspicious) or just leave the letter as is.
please let me know, I think this lawyer is wrong
