My boyfriend and my self are working on a cruise ship and we would like to try to settle in Vancouver.He is from Philippines. I wol\uld like to know what is the best way for him to make aplication for canadian work visa? I would be very thankfull if anyone have any information to share with me. Thank you all in advance

In oder to work in Canada, your boyfriend will have to find a Canadian employer who is willing to offer him a full time job. That employer will then have to obtain an approved LMIA (permission to hire a foreign worker). Once the LMIA has been approved, your boyfriend will be able to apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer. Note that it does tend to be difficult to find an employer will to go through the LMIA process. However some people are certainly successful.

i read these information about LMIA, and i know thar employer need to pay 1000$ per person that he hires. Is there any sites with job ofers where we can look? I have uncle that lives in Vancouver, he owns a counstraction firm, but my boyfriend does not have construction certificate, he can only work in hospitality fo start.

No - there is no job site which specifically lists jobs where employers are willing to obtain LMIAs. You just have to apply through regular job sites and hope you get lucky - and find an employer willing to go through the process.

Many agencies are scams. You should try to find a job without an agent.
