Hi all,

last month I mentioned here that I received my portal invite asSpouse sponsorship PR was approved but I was out of the country at the time.

immigration confirmed ‘Please contact us when you are back in Canada along with
your updated information regarding your latest entry date and location when you return. Your COPR willexpire on September, 16, 2022’.

so once I had that confirmation I was able to relax again.

my question is, since I can’t access the portal and complete the Pr process until I’m back in Canada, do I need anything other than my valid ETA visa to enter at this point?

coming from the Uk and valid ETA for a couple more years still.

Hi - you’re fine with just the ETA I think. But bring copies of your latest correspondence from IRCC relating to COPR and landing portal just in case. I doubt you’ll need it, they were always pretty reasonable with me through the process. Good luck!

I always print everything out just to have it in case they ask so should be all good.
