Good evening,

So I asked this question sort of a few days ago in a way that I don't think got across what I was asking. So I just wanted to make a seprate post for it and hopefully make it clear and maybe someone will know and hopefully it will be helpful info for others as well.

When arriving at the airport with my wife whom I've sponsored. She goes into the visitor line with her stamped passport and CoPR. I go into the citizen line (obviously). When she has answered the officers questions and is asked to go for the final meeting thing. I'm not sure what I do? I know that I have nothing to do with the meeting really but if I don't know where she goes and such it will be hard to find her once it is done? I've found a lot of info online about what the sponsored person has to do once arriving but I have found little to nothing about what the sponsor is to do.

Especially if I have checked some of her luggage because i did not need to bring anything and we could use the extra bag for her stuff. That stuff would need to be itemized with the other stuff that she is bringing into the country, correct?

I'm sorry if this comes off as rambling I am just stressed about it and want to be prepared to know what to do.

If anyone could share their experances going through this either as a Sponsor or a Sponsored Spouse that would be amazing.

Thank you.

Really? I can go in the visitor line? That would not cause any issues?

Awesome

No, it won't cause issues. You should be able to go through the entire landing process with her.

Thank you very much! Is there anything I should say if someone asks why I'm in that line? Just "I'm going through the landing process with my wife"?

No one will ask. When you get called up to the primary CBSA officer, just hand him/her your passports and the COPR and say your wife is landing. The officer will send you off to secondary to complete the landing process.
