Well I am excited for you getting married and I am so sorry that you are having to sweat over coming to Canada to get married and dealing with the border officers...

So much advice given, I would tell the truth always, have proof of ties, and bring a refundable return ticket for about a month, if you plan to stay longer get a refund and stay...I think 4-5 months long return ticket would be too long/suspicious, and you would have to provide proof of support and other things that might cause a headache.

Man. I'm going to be honest as balls.

I'm gonna tell them I'm visiting to get married, that I have sponsorship papers in the back of my trunk, everything. Fearless yo.
