Arrival questions - bf/gf who traveled on extended family authorization

How was the arrival situation/experience like? What questions did CBSA ask? Did they ask for the reason you were visiting? Quarantine plan, etc?

Just trying to get all the info/details in order. He will of course be doing the 14 day quarantine at a hotel in Vancouver as I don't have a spare bedroom. He will then stay for 2 months.

He had a visa from when he visited me in 2019 so we just got the authorization. We submitted when it was released in October and it took a whole month to get the approval.

Update: bf arrived yesterday

Questions asked by immigration officer -
1. What are you doing here? (visiting girlfriend)
2. Do you have a written authorization? (yes - they asked to see it to verify)
3. Where will you quarantine? (booked a hotel) - was given reminders not to interact with anyone during quarantine
4. How long are you staying here? (2 months)
5. Welcome to Canada!
