I too submitted docs on April 2nd 2020 and were delivered next day as per Canada post tracking status. I am also waiting for the docs acknowledgment.

This means they work from home these days and the Docs might stay in their mail room until the concern officer pick them up. However, they are still processing applications, i guess working from home, and issuing CSQs since recently i have heard from one friend who received CSQ acceptance notification during the 2nd week of April 2020.

No, but I know a guy who did that couple of months. I visited BLS office, submitted all requested documents and got the PCC few weeks later

my CSQ is in process, yet why is the option to update profile still active? This option to update profile was disabled as soon as the application was in status "processing". Has anything changed recently due to COVID?

I thought i was the only one in this situation. mine is still active and its been like that since last month even though my status is in treatment. I'm confused

At present I am in process of getting CSQ. At the same time I want to work on Pre-requisites for PR stage.

as you know, PCC is one of the required document for PR Stage.

Now on BLS website it says we must produce letter from CIC requesting for PCC.
"Purpose and Document for seeking PCC must be ascertained .Official communication from the Concerned authorities"

so the question is Do we need to wait for a stage to receive CIC letter and then apply for PCC? or can PCC be obtained without CIC letter?

if there is any one in this forum went through this tunnel, share your learnings.
