Our processing and response times
Our processing and response times are calculated in working days, that is to say from Monday to Friday, with the exception of public holidays in Quebec. These deadlines do not include postal deadlines. They start from the date on which the complete information necessary to process your request (forms and documents) has been received and placed in the file.

To stay in Quebec on a permanent basis
20 days - To make a decision following your request for permanent selection under the Québec Experience Program (PEQ).

6 months - To make a decision on your selection request following an invitation on the basis of the declaration of interest (skilled workers).

Between June 16 and December 31, 2019, 93 CSQs were issued. These are requests made
in ARRIMA following the invitation of July 4, 2019.

The treatment process has several stages. The candidate has in particular a deadline
maximum of 60 days to submit your request following the invitation. Remember that the
Department agrees to render a decision on the selection requests submitted following
an invitation within 6 months from the date on which the complete information
necessary to process the request have been received and placed in the file.

Hello guys,

I applied for Arrima for my "Declaration of interest" on 20th July 2019. Unfortunately, I have not received anything rather than "Update the consent" on the 20th December 2019. I only have 4months left until my application is expired. and I only have 1 year left for my Post graduate-work permit. I'm very worried.

I studied Computer engineering at Concordia University. I'm currently working at Ericsson as a consultant, which i think i can not get my job offer validated by the Quebec government.

Could someone give me some advice and recommendation?

Thank you

Hi,

Why don't you apply for the PEQ (for studies) ?

Hey, thank you! I applied for PEQ before and I failed the french interview. I did not meet their requirement. I'm afraid if I apply PEQ again, I will have to do the French interview again and my french is really bad.

Ok, without French, I'm affraid it will be quiet complicated to stay in Quebec... You should try Express Entry instead.

Or you have to take french course to increase you level...
