Hello All,
I am a PR for about two years now. I got married 1st week of this March 2020 in India. Everything started from an interest from them on a Matrimonial site by last week of Dec 2019. We did exchange messages on the matrimonial site and on whatsapp. Apart from that we didn't meet each other until a week before our wedding. She was planning to visit me once in Jan 2020, so she applied for a visitor visa on her own, without showing her employment and financial assets. That visitor visa was rejected with a possibility to reapply.
Our wedding ceremony was held at a popular temple and we got our marriage registration certificates the following week. We did host our wedding reception at a star hotel back in India. We have all the photos and videos delivered to us by now. We had at least a few thousand relatives and friends attend our wedding reception.
I have a good job here making more than enough salary, also I own my home here in Canada. Likewise my wife works as a manager at a large bank in India and she owns assets there. We were supposed to go an European tour by third week of March and all plans were shattered due to covid. I just rushed back to Canada by myself to continue my job by 2nd week of March. So in total I just spent 2 weeks with her and now planning to apply for her sponsorship.
Will there be any problem to us as we haven't known each other for a long time?
And the entire wedding was planned within 2 months will that be a concern?
Also will there be any other concerns with the sponsorship?
