Dear All,

I live in Karachi, Pakistan, working as Technical Support Officer for more than 2 years. The company where I am working headoffice is in ON, Canada. The employer is willing to bring me there, they will provide me any document which will help me to get Visa. The company is registered in Canada.
My real Sister is in ON, Canada. I want to know if I need to show my bank statement, if yes, what are the levels which my statement should meet? Also, IELTS is necessary? What documents would I need to present?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Syed Mansoor Ali

You can apply with Arranged Employment, but there are many factors involved.

Firstly, you need the job offer letter from your employer in Canada, after which you apply for AEO approval (4-5 months).
Once you get the Approval you need to submit your application with IELTS test & other application forms to CIO (3months) for approval of your file.
Finally your file is transfered to your Visa office for further processing (6-12 months approx). So in all it takes 18 months or more depending case to case.
No need of Bank statement, but YES you need to get minimum 67 marks to be eligible for immigration to Canada.

All the Best!!!!

Thank you very much for the fast response.

I did not know that I need to send job letter to AEO by myself? I thought it was done by Visa Office where I will submit all my documents.
So what is the procedure from Pakistan? Any ideas? May I bring the offer letter from employers now and send it to AEO? what other documents required in order to get approval from AEO?

Your employer has to apply to HRSDC for AEO approval. Please go to www.cic.gc.ca for all the information.

The job offer must have details of your designation, salary, job duties, number of hours and so on......

Hi,

One more questions, I have read on website that "Note: As of July 1, 2012, CIC will temporarily stop accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will likely start accepting applications again when the revised FSWP selection criteria take effect. Proposed FSWP changes should come into force in early 2013."

So, may I apply as it says "This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. " or not?

The job is full time in an IT firm as Technical Support Officer, please advice.

There is an exemption to the applicants with Arranged Employment.

This category is still open. You can go ahead and ask your employer to file LMO or AEO for you. In the meantime, get your every document ready like police verification supporting documents. Once you get the AEO, just send your application.

Cheerzzz

@smaj84,
you can apply with arrange employment, the pause does not affect you. Well, you don't need police clearance now, its in the later stages.

What happens if my employer applies for AEO in December this year? it will hypothetically get approved after the new legislation has passed which will require LMO and not AEO? Will CIC still process AEOs in this situation or they will make your employer re-apply for LMO instead? does anyone have an opinion?

Thank you nicholas30 & saini84 for the great news.

My concern is that now if my employer needs to file LMO or AEO? What is the difference? Can anyone gives me exact link/URL where I can find requirements to file AEO or LMO which I can pass to my employer and format of application to send for LMO or AEO?

Thank you in advance.

@Master7: we can be in touch as our case is same I guess, I need help in documentation.

Hi Smaj84,

i am also a FSW2 applicant (AEO) in Canada. there is nothing to worry about for applying in AEO if you have postive offer there.

your first concern is to get AEO letter from your employer. next (Ref from: nicholas30, Once you get the Approval you need to submit your application with IELTS test & other application forms to CIO (3months) for approval of your file.
Finally your file is transfered to your Visa office for further processing (6-12 months approx). So in all it takes 18 months or more depending case to case.

)

good luck
