Hi all,

I am currently working in Canada on a Working Holiday Visa and applying for Permanent Residence. My work is going to apply for an Arranged Employment Opinion to assist with my PR application. I am slightly confused as the Arranged Employment Opinion application states at the top of the form: "Do you intend to hire the skilled worker before he/she becomes a permanent resident?" and "if yes, you are not completing the correct form. Please complete the Application for a Labour Market Opinion Form." This is confusing - because I am on a working holiday visa at present my work does not have to apply for a temporary work visa/permit (this is when you use the LMO form) as my current visa has 10 months left. So yes, they do intend to employ me before I become a permanent resident but they don't intend to apply for a working visa just yet...what should I do here? As it states that we should fill out the LMO application.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The only way you can get an AEO is if they say no so they should write no but add an explanation letter that you are currently working for them on a working holiday visa and if your visa expires before your PR is finalized, you will go back home and return and be re-hired when your PR comes through.
