Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I have few questions regarding the Arranged Employement part of the skilled immigration process.

I have a Canadian Employer who is genuinely intrested in offering me a Job Offer, but he has some concerns regaring applying Application for a Labour Market Opinion to HRSDC/Service Canada on mybehalf, such as:

first concern is: "Is there a labour dispute in progress?", the job i am being offered is Web Programmer, so does anyone know how to answer whether there is a dispute in the market?

Second concern, Have you attempted to recruit Canadians / permanent residents for this job? well, if the answer is NO, do you think that my employer will not get a positive opinion?

And the last one is, Do you plan to train Canadians / permanent residents for the position to be filled by the foreign worker? Again, will it affect my application if the answer is no?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

1. The question means is there a strike on at the place of employment.
2. The employer should be completing an AEO application rather than an LMO if there is not intention to employ you prior to your emigration.
3. If you intend to get a work permit then if s/he hasn't advertised for 2 weeks in the job bank, then it will be refused.
4. If s/he is applying for an LMO then it will be refused if s/he has no intentions to train CCs or PRs

Now this is GREAT! since my employer is not interested in hiring me before getting my PR, he should fill AEO rather than LMO, which i think suits him better.

By by concern now is, if he filled AEO for me, will my application be processed quicly, or just as everyone else (without Arranged Job)?

In the same vein, please could tell me if the job offer through AEO should be permanent in nature?

Deegirl,

Now this is actually my question, the AEO form doesn't ask in anyway why the Canadian Employer is seeking someone from outside Canada to fill this position, nor it is asking the Employer is s/he advertised the job in the local market, unlike LMO. so if a Canadian Employer is truly seeking my experience and honestly interested in hiring me, would it make any difference if the Canadian market is full of Web Programmer?

Because i can't couldn't find anything in Service Canada nor in HRSDC website that states a job offer will be accepted or rejected based on the Canadian market need for the applicant skill. so what do you think?
