Hello!

Guys what are you using Matte or glossy for spouse photos for passport stamping after PPR.
IRCC has not mentioned anything.

Is it fine if I use photos on "Matte" paper?

TIA

It depends on your printer I guess. Usually printing on regular paper is enough and very clear. Test it and see.

Thanks for replying!

Our Matte paper photos are more clear (getting from a professional photographer), so thinking to send those.
Just wanted to make sure they will accept Matte paper.

I don't really think IRCC cares much either way.

But personally I think the simple way is to ask at the photo studio, what's the standard for passport-type photos.

Sorry I initially thought you meant spouse photos as in proof of relationship ones. In case of PPR photos it should be whatever is standard for ID/passport photos, in my life I've always seen them as the glossy type. But again, if what you have is standard then I don't think it matters.

Thanks! Yes Studio guys said they mostly provide Matt paper photos for Visa.
As IRCC doesn't have any strict requirement. I will stick to Matt paper.

Thanks. Photo studio said Matte paper photos are normal for visa-related work.
