My mother is in Canada for work, and she truly wish na makapunta po kami sa Canada.

want po nya mag applyng Canada Sponsorship (other called it: "petition") for my father, me (22yrs) and my little brother(19).. btw tatlo po kaming mag kakapatid, ung panganay po is 25 over age na po.

and gracefully, we're very happy because Justin Trudeau is the new prime minister of Canada 2017..and He said that the req of the age is now upto 22..Pasok pa po ako sa requirement of age..
so, my mother didn't hesitate to apply for permanent resident.

eto na po ung mga nangyari

2016-Dec - we undergo Medical at IOM Manila Health Center
(if may call daw po from IOM means may problem sa medical, thankfully wala pong call)

2017-January - my mother got a letter in canada from IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) which she was granted of "open permit"

2017-March- My mother has a flight from Canada to Philippines for a vacation
- when my mother seated airplane, she got an email from IRCC that our application is almost complete.

"We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Edmonton will contact you concerning your permanent resident status"

2017-April- here in philippines, she got another email from IRCC

"The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. Your accompanying family member(s) must complete the following steps within 30 days after you have attended your landing appointment in order for our office in Manila to facilitate the issuance of permanent residence visas for your accompanying family member(s)."

and also in april

she got email telling that she need to got back to canada for an Interview (Confirmation of permanent residence appointment) and IRCC is preparing us to pay a $490 in each sponsor.

so my mother didnt hesitate to rebook her 1month vacation..telling that she got no choice.

so my question is, what are we going to do next?

The dependent age has not changed and is still 18 years old or younger. Yes - the Liberals said they would change this rule however the rule hasn't been changed yet.

BTW - I would recommend you post entirely in English in the future. There are several parts of your post I don't understand and most on this forum won't understand.

Hi jets, it would be best to post your query using the English language only esp if you want the seniors of the forum to respond.

There you go :) scylla was right re: dependent age.

Yes, looks like your mother's application is almost done esp on OWP. For PR, I am not sure when exactly your mother filed the application. Since the dependent age still has not officially changed yet, looks to me that once she completed her landing interview, only her and your father might be granted the PR visa unless her child dependents are below 19 years old at the time of submission of her PR application.
