Are We Allowed To Go Part Time After A Scheduled Break (PGWP)?

Hi so here's the situation. I'm doing my final courses this semester. However I am not sure if I'll have to repeat one course. So I was wondering if I have to repeat it, could I take the next semester off and then do it in the semester after that? I would be part time though since its just 1 course.

Is this allowed when it comes to applying for PGWP? I know they say your final semester can be part time, but I am intentionally taking a break between it, so that's why I'm not sure of the rules here.

Is it a schedule break for your program?

In my college a break counts as a scheduled break if the student is full-time in the semester right before the break AND full-time in the semester after the break. We just have to submit a form before the break so that they can authorize it.

However I don't know if there's an exception for students who have just got one course left to go. Feels like there should be. Otherwise for it to count as a scheduled break, you'd have to register for additional courses (not required by your program) for this?
