Are VO's looking for work experience related to field of study??

Did any body noticed that or felt like --Vo's are looking for work experience in the related filed of study now adays in CEC.If work experience is different from field of study then they are putting for second review or regecting.

Anybody noticed this..

It depends. For regulated occupations like nurse or pharmacist, you have to have the education as part of the qualification. For other jobs, a general education is enough, you can learn on the job.

well, you are rigth. Because i applied in NOC 0631 i met all the requirment but my fild of study is diffrent then my work experience, so they want to do second review. I dont know whats gone a happen but i am too scared.

I have my boss write a letter to explain the why he hired me and I also had volunteer experience in the field. I am still waiting for the MR though and the CIC did not ask for any docs.

Hi, i would like to know what is your field of study. I applied under same noc in nov 2014. I studied administration.

So you are claiming a managerial job (based on your NOC), so if you don't have appropriate education or prior work experience, the VO will (should) find it difficult to believe.

CIC is doing a lot more anti-fraud review these days...

My application has been delayed for the same reason. The VO has objected that I do not meet the employment requirements for the NOC code I used. It says that I do not have the required education for that NOC code.
