Hey all,

I can't find anything online so I thought I give it a shot here.
Does anyone of you know if all the visa costs (Express Entry costs, PNP costs, shipping and traveling? for that matter, immigration lawyer costs) is tax deductable?

Would be great and I'd love to hear if anybody has experience with it or knows it.

THanks,
Julia

You can claim moving expenses, check CRA website for more details.

I thought you aren't allowed to unless you're an international student with a taxable scholarship or bursary in Canada.

Moving expenses can be claimed only for moving within Canada, not immigrating.

Hmm, contradictory advice on the CRA website for newcomers.

You might want to engage with a tax professional, LindaB.
