Job Duties & responsibilities


  • Site Mechanical Engineer is responsible for Measurement, Calculation, estimation & pricing, field measurement verification with drawings and daily activities at site.
  • Duties in the field of company’s Industrial projects such as Insulation (Hot thermal, cryogenic, acoustic, Corrosion under insulation & tracing), Surface preparation (Blasting & all type water jetting), Painting & Coating, Fireproofing (Intumescent Coatings, Cementitious Fireproofing, Refractory linings), scaffolding etc.
  • As a Mechanical Engineer responsible to manages directly & provide mechanical engineering supervision & support especially in the field of Thermal engineering.
  • Shall ensure proper custody of project related drawings issued by the customers.
  • Plan to make request for manpower, equipment and consumables.
  • Preparation & submission of Invoice as per project agreement.
  • Coordination with client’s representative and reports to Project or Area Manager.
  • Quality of work to be assured as per quality & engineering standards.
  • Generally responsible for implementation and monitoring of all site related works at site as per approved drawings, methods, safety rules & standards.
  • Estimates, prepares & assigns the resources such as materials, consumables. Equipment & tools etc.
  • Supervise to project supervisors, Foreman, Technicians and other junior staff at site.
  • Manages directly & provide engineering supports to all required site activities.
  • Ensures that all site works are done accordingly to all applicable standards.
  • Ensures best practice of Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental system at site.
  • Submits site daily production reports, request for inspection, Material on Site, Cash on Site record, Fixed assets list, manpower list and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
