It really depends on your experience and profile......If you have good exp, then 1 yr courses make sense, as they are cheap and would let you get in the job market quickly. Also, Canada is expensive place to live and survive without any regular income, while paying for high university fees.

Good luck !

i think cost comes out to be same more or less.......atleast in toronto area college cost a bunch.... since u have to take 1 more year pg course after the initial 1 year course and on top of that u get poor education in PG compared to university. job starting salaries for university r better than PG courses too.

Well, I wouldn't say they are poor education, as in Canada the colleges have maintained certain standards as compared to India. Also, as I said if exp & profile is good then you can land a job post just 1yr program rather then go for another one. For eg. a MBA at a reasonable university there would set you back 40-50K $, just for tuition fees, as compared to PGD in business management which costs 10-13K $.

ye dont compare MBA ....prospects after MBA r far better than PGD ......masters in finance or other such would cost pretty much same and is far batter than PGD.....1 year education is never a good idea and with express entry 2015 even riskier. the fact about standards is overrated by consultants. high schools have good standards too but does that mean u will go for high school education(after bachelors)? ofcourse not.....according to me and this is just my personal opinion PGD in business and engineering fields is a very poor choice(a waste) if u have a bachelors degree.....

this is what happens when someone doesn't have good understanding, research and real life exp on the subject...One starts making silly arguments "high schools have good standards too but does that mean u will go for high school education(after bachelors)?" .

1 year course u get 1 year PGWP in that u will have to find a job and apply for PR. there r various PR programs and u will have to read through them depending on which province ur going etc....but to be safe do a 1+1 year program or a 2 year program to get a 3 years PGWP just to be safe.....

Not worth. Canada is an over smart country. They offer international students (Mostly Indians) low quality education like Diplomas and pg diplomas.. Those pg diplomas fetch you no recognition and jobs. I dont understand why they have few available Master courses for International students which have very high entry requirements. The reason is they don't want their people to loose jobs against Indians or other country students. So they have developed hopeless diplomas in order to earn money to run their institution and country. And, making sure they have future ready labours. As you won't get any white collar jobs but a labour or a grocery store worker job after such diplomas.
