are days counted that I lived outside of country with my Canadian child?

Hi,

I am looking into apply Canadian citizenship next month and as I am calculating my days, I am confused if i should count my days lived outside of Canada with my daugther who is Canadian citizen by birth.

Last year, I went to India and my daughter and I lived with my parents for about 8 months. I am permanent residence in Canada. My husband and daughter are Canadian Citizens if that helps. Also, I did not worked or required to be in India while I took trip there last year. It was simply family visit.

Can i count those days?

No

Only time this exception can be counted is if your husband is a Crown servant. In absolutely no circumstance does your daughter's status give you any exception.
