Hi all. My lawyer informed that he has been receiving rejection letters on behalf of his clients (pre-june) since last few weeks. It seems to him that CIC is in a mood to reject almost 9 out of 10 applications without any good reason! What do you think? Why are they doing this? To remove backlog? Does it sound fair to anyone that after 24-30 months of waiting we are going to be dumped by them. As if they can do anything with our fate! I hear someone got rejected for mismatch of JD. What rubbish! What were they doing when files were being pre-screened in Nova Scotia? Only those applicaitons which passed through initial test of matching JD with NOC list were forwarded to respective Visa offices. How come they found out after preserving someone's applicaiton for 2 years that his JD doesn't match! This is completely appalling!

Is there anything we can do before all of us get rejected?

9 out of 10 is not right ratio. Your consultant is lying bcoz later they have to answer to their clients.
If ur JD is mismatch, its not VO's problem. If u make mistake, you u have to pay for that.
Consultant r the worst among all these.

Canada is thinkng to impose austerity measures in comng months and this time they got no good reason to accept all these awaiting applicants. Since 2008-2010, Canada and its economy has changed a lot and they dont have enough schools, hospitals, doctors, amenities to cuddle the huge immigrants.

NC only screened to a minimum extent but its the vo's who make the final decisions at a time about which applicants are ideal to be granted a PR visa at which state ofCanada's economy/other factors.

At this time they dont feel the need of qualified managers , rather workinh people like China who can pay tax and contribute to Canada. Huge # of PR visa holders would punch the already struggling Canadian job seekers.

Actually I'm not someone who has been rejected as yet. Why wud my lawyer lie about other clients. He just projected the scenario out of his frustration. Moreover mismatch of JD is not a problem with VO. However, matching JD is done in initial pre-screening stage, isn't it? The JDs that pass the pre-screening stage are later sent to respective VOs as far as I know. VO is not supposed to reject a file due to JD mismatch since it already passed the stage. Pls correct me if wrong.

no rupa ji, u need to be corrected here.

initial screening at Novascotia doesnt include checking JDS.

its a part of Visa Office, hence applicant gets refused at a later stage.

OK thanks for corrections. But one of my contemporary who happens to be my colleague was rejected just after 5 months of applying (for JD mismatch). Where we were asked for full docs she wasn't asked for anything & was refused at that initial stage. Thats why I thought JDs are checked at the initial stage.

Anyway, am very worried cuz still I can't check my ECAS. Before disappearing it showed in process with letter sent. We received no letter as of today!

unnecessary anxiety wont yield any fruitful results, this is wat i feel.

now-a-days many ppl getting 6-12 months wait letter.

so, calm ur nerves, wait for the letter, or may be next communication from cic.

until then, enjoy urself to the fullest.

god bless.

That's not right...Rejections for JD mismatch have been happening for some months now...It's true that some pre-Juners will get MR this year and the remaining rest....so people should be ready for 6-12 months wait letter....London VO has already sent the wait letter to lot of applicants, especially from Pakistan...

Rejections can also be based on background checks after the start of processing, and based on medical issues and security checks....

They sent a letter after IN Process??

omg, you should ask them about that letter. it might have asked you for additional documents
Why not order CAIPS now?
