Hi Everyone,

I need help urgently. I have two Arabic stamps in my passport (one page) as I travelled to Saudia Arabia for 7 days before I landed in Canada but somebody told me that I should get them translated because the dates are in Arabic as well.

Please let me know any place in Mississauga who can do it in one day as I don't have time and my interview is in 3 days.

Thanks a lot guys in advance.

I don't think they will look in to any stamps before you landed in Canada. Did you come to Canada as a PR for the first time?

Actually, the dates are in Arabic so how will they know that these dates are before or after I landed in Canada. I don't want to take any chances. Do you know anyone in Mississauga who can do it urgently in one day ?

Yes, I landed in Canada as a PR.

You can contact them. Not sure if they will be able to mail it back tonyou in time but you can ask them if they can scan and email it to you so atleast you have something to show the officer. Also you can look online for local interpreters.

I strongly recommend that you can go and translate these stamps in few hours.

one office in Scarborough Lawrence and warden RBC bank building

and one in Dundas street. You can call 4167594334.

Hi,

I got my Arabic (UAE) stamps translated from
www.taontario.ca

They are on Bloor and Islington intersection. Not far from Mississauga. But they are open Mon-Fri only. They do translation for most languages.

Hi Shahmad,
I was exactly in the same situation... since the dates are in Arabic, they can't understand whether these were before your 4 year period or after. It's in your best interest to get certified translations for the page(s) in question.

I ignored this issue, and during the interview at my test, the officer asked me if I had translations of the stamps, since I didn't, I was issued a CIT0520 (mini-RQ), and was asked to submit translations within 45 days (she mentioned that, if I submit my translations within a week, there will be no considerable delay to my file).

That being said, I had my test/interview in mid-May, and I'm still waiting for my Oath.. people who appeared in the test after me already received their oaths already.

It's good you realized this issue now. Better safe than sorry.

I have one visit to U.A.E and I just got Certified Translation from ATIO. Do you need to have a copy of your original document to be certified (notarized) as a TRUE COPY by any local Notary Public as well along with the certified translation?

Any good reference for certified translator (Arabic to English). I have many stamps and few visas.

When they translate the dates, do they put the Hijri dates or Gregorian dates on the translation.

please reply

Thank you.
