Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Guys , If I write in the letter inviting my parents to attend the birthday for the grand child in April and I file the visa end of February, Do you think it is late and they might reject?

BTW I applied before in January for July travel dates but was refused so this is re-application.

Rejected due to assests and financial generic line. I showed more than 90k CAD.

If the application is rejected, it won't be rejected because of the planned travel date.

Have your parents showed the 90K this time or you? Hopefully your parents.

My parents showed first time but refused may be due to technical error.

So you need to overcome the reasons they were refused the first time. IRCC prefers if the applicant shows the fund (vs. the person inviting).

It really depends on case to case basis as well. For my parents TRV - I submitted my bank statement for funds and they only showerd like 2.5K CAD in total for 5 months travel - application has been approved and their PP is with IRCC for stamping. Other factors - my parents had a previous travel history to Canada (in 2012).

Agreed. The previous travel to Canada really strengthens a profile. Congrats.

My parents have no travel history. Also I showed only bank statements as proof. Now I am showing property and bank statements + CA document + affidavit.

Please ensure to include your employment information as well. Good luck.

A previous travel to Canada / valid visit visa to USA falls under CAN+ program and technically doesn't even require a POF to be uploaded. In the new portal if you choose these options the placeholder to upload the proof of funds is gone. So, yes a previous travel to Canada may help in approval even if funds shown were low.
