I hope to be submitting my application for my husband to sponsor me and permanent residence in late April. Will anyone else here be sending in an application around that time? IM not quite decided if i am going to send it as an outside Canada App or inside. PROS and CONS to both. any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated

Lambeen .... If u choose inland application in that case ur husband need to be in Canada and must be under valid visa till case finish and u guys need to be live together because inland application approval strongly depend on living together and very low chances for rejection also .... but inland application processing time more longer than out land application...According to CIC site for first stage 8 -9 months and for second stage 8 months ..so totally 17 months ..ur husband can apply for OWP after his first stage approval known as AIP .... CIC processing time is not very accurate and its change time to time and depend on ur application also ... its could be longer also and could be shorter also. and according to my opinion CIC taking only 3 to 4 months max for second stage ..so u can count at least 15 months processing time for inland application Now ...NOTE PLEASE in case of rejection inland application no appeal allowed
If u choose out land application then for first stage processing time just 28 days only and second stage depend on ur husband residence Country CIC Visa Office and in case of rejection u can appeal and even can fight in federal court ...Good luck and God bless all of us

Thanks for the info, i am in Canada right now as a visitor and husband is canadian and living here, i am really thinking about applying from outside Canada, i have heard that if i do have to cross the border and have any problems it would be better to have an outside application. I have been told its okay for me to be here as a visitor and still apply from the outside. Do all outside applicants have to go for an interview in one of four cities in the USA? I was looking at the forms online and it said to checkmark your preference of cities. thanks in advance for any info

Outland is definitely the better choice if you plan on crossing the border during the process. It is perfectly fine to submit an outland app while inside Canada.

As a visa-exempt American, your chances of an interview are pretty much zero, unless you guys have some major red flag in your relationship.
