April 23rd is probably the date when the new dashboard went live and many applicants see this date on their dashboard. AFAIK, it is extremely likely that no updates to your file were made on that date, it is just the date that the dashboard went live.

On the face of it, they say bg check pending but who knows what's going on BTS

New application tracker updated on May 21,2021

but nothing changed
completed my test on Feb 11,2021 after that no movement in application

For me, all the sections were updated as of April 16. But the new tracker updated on 23 Apr. now my oath ceremony is scheduled on 16 June. Until I got mail last Friday nothing updated.
Don’t loose hope, depending on the visa office, things will move. All the best

depending on the visa office ? damn then probably its going to take another 50 years for my file to process since Montreal office is going through 7th wave.
