My application exceeded the processing Time (34 days) and I submitted the webform 2 days ago. No response so far.

Hello everyone,
I need help with my brother's application.
Applied: April 4
Biometrics: April 15.
There has been no progress so far in the tracker apart from the biometric update. In the application form, he stated he will visit Canada between June 21 - July 13, 2024. He intends to visit for 3 weeks and returns back home. He has no intention of staying longer than 3 weeks due to his work and family (wife and children).

Since June 21 is not far, that maybe a reason for refusal if decision is not made before that date.
What should he do? Should he change his dates? If yes, how is it done?

which country did you apply from and what are your processing times?
 
April 21 - Applied / Biometrics already with IRCC
Biometrics - Already submitted on a prior application
April 29 - Ghost update
May 23 - Eligibility in progress
May 30 - Eligibility completed
Jun 5th - Received BVL
 
April 09 - Applied
April 15 - Biometrics
April 16 - Biometrics updated in account
June 5th - Received Rejection.

Seems like you will get PPR in 2-3 days? May I know in which city biometrics were submitted originally?

Applied via IRCC Portal - April 04, 2024
Request for Biometrics: April 06, 2024
Biometrics Completed - April 10, 2024
Biometrics Updated - April 11, 2024
Updated AOR through web form - May 14, 2024
Eligibility completed - May 29, 2024
PPR & BVL- June 06, 2024
Took 2 months but the wait is finally over.

Got PPR: May 24, 2024
Passport Received back with counterfoil for TRV (until passport expiry): 10th Jun 2024
