I am almost in your timeline, it's been about a month that my BG has been completed, but I have not been invited to take the test.

regarding urgent processing, no I just submitted the application online and been watching the tracker weekly.

seemed to run fast once BG check was completed, citizenship test was a breeze think I took 2 minutes.

Best resource for those about to do the test is the discover Canada book.

Test Invite - 15 June 2024 while background check is still in progress. I see that this rarely happens with people and such apps take a lot of time to complete (around 9 - 12 months). Is anyone over here in a similar situation ? It will be helpful to keep in touch.

Same here. I received fingerprint request today on the tracker, but has not received email yet. May I ask how long will it take for them to send the email? Did you go the the RCMP, local police of accredited companies for the fingerprint? Thank you.

It was requested in the system on June 13, 2024

Primary office is Montreal Citizenship
Secondary office is CPC Sydney

I checked that I wanted to have paper certificate but the system says e-certificate

On tracker LPPs are in progress, but ATIP note says Not started.
Knowledge section which is Citizenship test - in progress but I did this already and I saw it was completed on tracker.

LPPs are assigned to Sydney and wonder how long it will take them to go through haha
because I see the due date for LPPs as 2025 April

everyones LLP will always be in progress on tracker until it changes to completed. also compare the date of when the ATIP was generated vs when you did your test. even tho it takes a month for you to receive ATIP it is only updated and created once. also i believe at the oath you change your request for papar or e-certificate. and the due date of 2025 is normal it is always a year after the date you submited your application

I understand the LPP part. It was generated couple days before I did my test so definitely that is why knowledge was in progress. I just submitted web form to request change for getting paper certificate instead of e-certificate.

I also late declared day trip to US for physical presence but ATIP note says it count as 0 days. Hopefully everything goes fast for LPP.



I submitted
Diploma from Secondary School in Canada, Diploma, Program completion letter and Transcript from Post-Secondary school in Canada as my language requirement.
