Hello

I would like to know if any of you guys have successfully tried to request for an in-person oath ceremony and how long it took to get one scheduled.
Particularly, I was wondering if the invite for an in-person ceremony will delay the timeline much more than deciding to attend the virtual ceremony on zoom.

on that forum what I seen few times it was from 6 to 11 month of waiting, if it's really metter for you take some extra time.

Yes, before 14-15 months, we have a specific situation, we are from Ukraine originally, was moved to Canada in 2019 and under new implementation from Ukrainian government we cannot book an appointment at Ukrainian Consultant for new passport application for our oldest son. We describe everything in email to MP, two weeks after his response to my wife, my wife got her test invitation and everything start moving forward. In November 2023 she received her ATIP and it was no agent assigned to the application.

Hey, not only you. I applied too in April, 2023, did test in July. LPP still pending as per GCMS notes. Status on GCMS states 'E Grant, awaiting group members'. My file is stuck in Vancouver, I submitted online and lives in Edmonton. Any updates on yours?

You are not alone! I applied a bit after you in May. I am still waiting for my Background check to complete (security clearance) and LPP. Last real update was on July 13 2023 when my test completed.

Yesterday, April 4th, marked the anniversary of my application—the date it was filed. Interestingly, there was an update on the tracker. I'm curious if it might have been an automated system update. Has anyone else experienced something similar on their application anniversary?

I genuinely don’t understand how people that applied in december have already received their citizenship and my husband that applied in April is still stuck on prohibitions and background check since jan 24th.
any insights would be appreciated.
