My apology, yes you are correct non-accompanying spouse do not require biometrics but they require medical exam. If they charged you for spouse biometric fee they should refund it.

My Applications status updated to the following in GC Key and after some time I got the PR portal confirmation email finally! I hope others who have everything completed in the tracker get their Portal email soon.

Congratulations, I am stuck at Eligibility/BG in progress. Just reverted to an ADR on 9th June. AOR 28th April.
We have the same AOR. I've been on BG verification ("We are processing...") for about 3 weeks now.
BG processing 5 weeks, Eligibility since 2 weeks now. Your eligibility is done?
Previous US VISA refusals. We went to border to get our work permits.

My background has been in progress since 7 weeks now. Last update on background check was on 8th may on gckey stating we will let u know when we start your background check.
On gc key my nackground went from- IN PROGRESS to NA to IN PROGRESS to We will let you know when we start your background check.
Can anyone share some insight on how long can it take. I know no one knows, but tentatively asking.

Eligibility on 5th may
All completed except background check which is in progress since 26th april, the date of my medical update. I got the access that day.
Based on the statuses at https://www.justforcanada.com/9-from-aor-to-ppr.html#/status it sounds like you're near the end of the background check. Hope you get it soon.
