Hi, All

Has anyone of you missed a ceremony? Mine was on Jan 17, and I was unable to attend the video oath ceremony due to Family matter, (my grandma passed away due to COVID) and I had to stay. I've sent emails to the designated email address that was given in the oath letter if unable to attend, and webform request, before and right on the scheduled date, no replys or updates since. I have also tried to logged into the ZOOM meeting with the given room and password info during the ceremony to speak with an immigration officer about my situation, but it kept telling me wrong password and blocked me from access. Does anyone of you has similar issues?

Giving IRCC a call should give you a faster response. As you had a family emergency they would give you a new date whenever one is available.

Anyone succeeded to get a hold of IRCC agent over the phone?
every time i call, there is an automated message saying "we have large volume of calls and can't transfer you to an agent" and they hang up on me...any idea?
i used this number: 1-888-242-2100

Guys, I saw somewhere that the tracker updates daily at 6AM, Eastern time. Does anyone know if that is true? Has anyone got tracker updates during the day or it is just one time in the morning? Even after reading this I keep checking several times every day

It updates from 8 to 9 AM UTC. Which is around 3 to 4 PM for EST. Only no changes after that for whole day

Thanks, I will try my best to to give IRCC a call to speak to an representative, do you konw if there's like a faster way to speak to a real person, cuz everytime I call them costs me hours..... and I am out of the country at the moment....

No faster way. Getting someone on line is a task in itself. Most of the time you will get disconnected because they are busy.

Yes. but you can request a call back if you are in Canada and they respond a few minutes later. One way to avoid the long wait times.
